Elias Makris is Partner and Head of Real Estate at Lidis Property Partners, where he helps lead the firm’s real estate development, asset management, and acquisition activities. He is a member of the firm’s Investment Committee and Real Estate Committee.

Since joining Lidis Property Partners in 2019, Mr. Makris has held leadership roles across property management, construction management, development management, and real estate acquisitions. He has been instrumental in establishing and scaling the firm’s operating platform in Athens, with a particular focus on value-add execution across hospitality, student housing, and urban accommodation.

Mr. Makris has played a key role in the development and operation of the firm’s The Lofts student and urban accommodation platform and The Nixon Hotels brand. He has also led the execution of more than 4,000 square meters of brown-to-green redevelopment projects, contributing to the repositioning of underutilized urban assets into higher-performing, design-led real estate. His work is centered on improving asset performance, executing redevelopment business plans, and driving operational outcomes across the portfolio.

He is recognized for his hands-on asset management approach, strong execution capability, and ability to deliver practical solutions that enhance value and performance. His experience spans the full lifecycle of real estate projects, from acquisition and planning through construction, repositioning, and operations.

Prior to joining Lidis Property Partners, Mr. Makris worked with Viking Cruises in Switzerland and across Europe. He studied Hotel Management and Economics at the Le Monde Institute.
